I just found these in the Microsoft AntiSpyware folder under Program Files
(GCD Images), what are they for?

Not sure exactly what you mean. The GCD files in \program files\microsoft
antispyware\

as I understand them are proprietary database files which record various
details of the working of the program--checkpoint status, user choices,
quarantine content, definitions, etc.
