Well, thats the joy of 64 bit you are able to process 64 bit and 32 bit
code. Oh wait, there still isn't AntiVirus for XP Pro 64, but company's such as Symantec and MacAfee promise to update there current crop of security utilities just in time for the release of Windows XP Pro x64. I probably expect the same from Microsoft. Who knows, they might be doing that for beta 2. -- Andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Wayne Wastier" <waynewastier@nospam.charter.net> wrote in message news:%23FCFXd8HFHA.2116@cpmsftngsa05.privatenews.microsoft.com... > What's the skinny on this? Hi Wayne,
Haven't heard a peep. Watching these groups wouldn't be a bad place to see any news about it tho. I've yet to hear of any bug associated with running Microsoft Antispyware on
a 64 bit platform. One user reported a DEP violation during the .501 to ..509 upgrade process, but that issue was also reported on 32-bit. -- FAQ for Microsoft Antispyware: http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Bob Kilgore" <bobkil@ntlworld.com> wrote in message news:LDxN2XaIFHA.2332@cpmsftngsa06.privatenews.microsoft.com... > > "Wayne Wastier" <waynewastier@nospam.charter.net> wrote in message > news:%23FCFXd8HFHA.2116@cpmsftngsa05.privatenews.microsoft.com... >> What's the skinny on this?
