You mean support of excluding specific folders? I think it is already
supported, if you choose Scan Options > Full System, you are able browser and individually select specific folders for scanning. -- Andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Chris" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:39cc01c51fc6$430146f0$a601280a@phx.gbl... >I would like to see EXCLUSIONS on this application for > better handling on what MSAS can scan. Yes, you can choose folders to scan. But that is not an Exclusion. Exclusion
is not yet available. Would be handy to allow scanning from the root of all drives, and then be able to "exclude" specific files/folders from that full root scan. Hopefully something for Beta 2. I'd also like to see exclusions. For example, I would
like to exclude the RealVNC executable (and all related 8+ trigging entries) from all future scans. I guess it could be an option in the dropdown to "Permenantly Ignore". >-----Original Message----- >Yes, you can choose folders to scan. But that is not an Exclusion. Exclusion >is not yet available. Yes, you are correct. Just use the drop down after a completed scan to
"always ignore" proper applications such as VNC. I too use VNC and have them set to "Always Ignore" Though would still be nice to pre-exclude specific files and directories. Especially during beta testing. And when there is cookie scanning, alsothe option for whitelist/blacklist cookies. <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:413c01c5202e$7893e530$a401280a@phx.gbl... > I'd also like to see exclusions.
