Default AntiSpyware versus SpyBot

Ran SpyBot Search and Destroy 1.3 and it found 43 problems.

Installed AntiSpyware 1.0.509 and ran a quick scan, it did
not detect any problems.

Updated AntiSpyware to definition 5693, ran a quick scan,
and it still did not detect problems.

Ran Deep Scan and it still did not detect any problems.

Any suggestions as to what may be causing the difference in
detection?

AntiSpyware said to tell it is sorry for not finding them because it is
beta. I don't know, some products work differently. Could you put a listing
of what it did not find and also send a spyware report from the Tools menu?

I believe that the beta release does not check for the (low risk) presence of
cookies/dataminers.
Is this what Spybot was reporting?

Can't put up a listing because I had SpyBot do a cleanup
but I did send a report.

Yes, SpyBot was reporting cookies/dataminers.

And you can expect Microsoft to do justice by MSAS by beta 2.
