Task Manager disabled by system administrator

Default Task Manager disabled by system administrator


Hi

When I press ctrl+ALT+del on my keyboard, task manager
does not appear. Intead I get "Task Manager disabled by
System Administrator." How do I re-enable task manager?

Hi,

Are you using XP Pro or Home?

You should boot the machine into safe mode log on as the local Admin then click on start run and in the run box type in Gpedit.msc and click okay from this console you will be able to re-assign the rights to the user for the task manager
