Default This will help with Browser Hijacker:

Hello to all with the problem of the Browser
Hijacker...here is something that should help...it helped
me :-) just follow the instructions:

1. Close all applications then download and install ad-
aware personal edition from one of the download links on
the following page:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

2. Close all applications, and if your understanding is
great enough close all un-necessary processess from the
process tab of the windows task manager.

3. Run Ad-aware and update the pattern files when
prompted. After updating run a deep system scan and
remove all critical items discovered.

4. Download HijackThis from:
http://www.spychecker.com/download/..._hijackthis.htm
l

5. Close all applications then Run HijackThis and click
the scan button in the bottom left of the window.

6. Put tick boxes next to anything that appears suspect
or does not appear to contain the name or description
synonymous with a reliable, or trustworthy company.
Specifically look for descriptions like; Media, Search,
Toolbar, about:blank. Don't let the complicated
appearance of the screen worry you, it's not possible to
cause any real harm to your computer with the program.

7. When you are satisfied that you have selected the
rogue entries on the list, click the fix checked button.

8. Restart your computer, hopefully the problem should be
sorted. If it isn't, sorry :-D

Good Luck All!!
