Seems to be an ongoing theme. I also see noone has
responded to similar problems. I hope this is due to the weekend. None of the agents seem to be working. I also have the message that 2 of 3 agents are activated. All show activated, none respond with any information. I have assumed that these are incomplete in the Beta version. All computers I have loaded this on react the same. Any info is appreciated. I am running Spybit S&D with Teatimer and SD Helper active. I am running Spyware Doctor. The latter seems to be malfunctioning at times since installing this product. Most disturbing is the repeated existence of SearchSquire. I have never had a problem with this in the past. Now it appears repeatedly no matter the tool used for removal. |

Are you loged on as an admin on the systems?
If i am not mistaken the SearchSquire is actually part of Spybot S&D, but I could be mistaken, someone please verify for me. Correct, but many (but not all) of the SearchSquire detections that folks
write in these groups about are the result of a false positive on an addition that Spybot Search & Destroy makes to the restricted sites list in IE. -- FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.txt "Dick Cardy" <ngnov2004@bcs-israel.com> wrote in message news:uxHRq8lAFHA.2368@cpmsftngsa05.privatenews.microsoft.com... > > "PYPC Dream" <dream@texasasylum.com> wrote in message > news:udjNGIiAFHA.1496@CPMSFTNGSA04.privatenews.microsoft.com... >> >> If i am not mistaken the SearchSquire is actually part of Spybot S&D, but > I >> could be mistaken, someone please verify for me. >> > No it is not part of Spybot S & D > > See www.doxdesk.com/parasite/searchsquire.html for description > > |
