Default installed, ran once, now it goes to a not responding state when i start it

i installed it on XP here, ran it once, removed some
things, it said it had to restart the machine which it
did, then when it comes back up, i try to start the pgm
again, and it just goes to a "not responding" state in
task mgr, runs the cpu usage up to 100% til i end it.
any ideas out there? same problems?
ran it on my win 2000 machine and it worked perfectly.
no official complaints as i'm aware it IS a beta!

Yes, I have experienced this, it has not actually hanged up, just leave it
and it will eventually go to main page and begin functioning.
