Installed the Anti-Spyware and now my computer is
toasted. It worked at first, but odd things we're happening. Slow-down, "no Firewall installed" alerts, different Spyware pop-ups that I'd never seen before. Then I started getting a RUNDLL startup error. Something about not finding Wild Tangent in the Program Files. Then my screen went blue and instructed me to reboot and remove any newly installed programs. But everytime I reboot it goes back to the blue screen and doesn't let me perform anything. I tried F8 for safe reboot but it doesn't work. Any ideas what I can do? |

If you can't afford to have a shop repair it
(recommended), think about starting over by booting from the XP CD and reinstalling. Hopefully, someone will post nicer advice. 2000... and do a recovery.. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;307654#3 or boot from CD and choose repair to have windows try to repair itself... >-----Original Message----- >Installed the Anti-Spyware and now my computer is >toasted. Fix your line wrap so that your URL links are not cut off like so:
Tools|Options|Send Tab|News Sending Format|Plain Text Settings... Automatically wrap text at (change to highest value, 132) characters when sending. When you do this, your links will no longer be cut off and will work like this: http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...;en-us;307654#3 Hope this helps. -- ~Ohmster "Jfive" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:072301c4f8e7$b62a5d20$a401280a@phx.gbl... : Change Bios to boot from CD, put your windows XP or : 2000... and do a recovery.. : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- : us;307654#3 : or boot from CD and choose repair to have windows try to : repair itself... : : >-----Original Message----- : >Installed the Anti-Spyware and now my computer is : >toasted.
