can not run, un-install, or re-install

I am running XP W/ sp2. Avast antivirus an xp firewall. I
am trying to uninstall the antispyware but it runs into an
error I tried reinstalling but I receive an error there as
well.

Can you give some specifics?

Do you get an error message?

What is broken--do you still have networking/internet connectivity?

try to repair it on add/remove program by clicking the
microsoft antispyware and click repair then you can
unsinstall it if you finish the repair please reply if this
doesn't work. i have other ways of uninstalling microsoft
antispyware tools
