This is something that all antispyware/adware programs
reports.. Ive set the startup page of IE to be about:blank.. This is a "system" setting and should not be reported as a hijack attempt. Is i posible to fix this, or would that leave a security hole? /vonGrepa |

Try this ... click Tools, Advanced Tools, Browser Hijack Settings Restore. Click on Start Page in the left frame then click the Change restore setting to a new URL link on the left. See if setting the BHS Restore resolves the issue. Steve Wechsler (akaMowGreen) MVP Windows Server AumHa VSOP |

MSAS found the CWS about:blank hijacker, and could clean it as well.
But on the 2nd start of IE (maxthon) it reappeared. It works well when deleting the temporary internet files before running a scan. |
