Default Microsoft Antispyware

So far looks 90% good. Main issue is that it does not scan
cookies in other browsers. The brogram did not catchs
cookies in my Firefox browser. Spybot found 12 entries
that had Sex or traker in the name. Not sure why it does
not scan the cokkies but I hope that is temp.

I wonder if GIANT's did? I have not used Firefox enough. I still gravitate
to IE. I like MSN Explorer 9.1 better, but it does not support the Google
and MSN Toolbar's. I love the pop-up thumbnail and just seems to run a bit
better.

Ah, I thought it was missing. Is there any public as to what is removed, and
what is going on?

All I know is that it's not implimented in this beta.
That's all I can tell you - you know how it is! ;-)

Yup . I was hoping maybe there was some public info. I can see by the
anonc. that the Press Release must be the only thing. <sigh>

Is the System Explorers section operational? When I go
to Advanced Tools, System Explorers, the list on the left
is blank . . .

Yes--it should be operational--lots of stuff there on my installs.

Consider uninstalling and reinstalling?

I've uninstalled and re-installed. Although when I re-
installed, it still detected that I had previously done a
full scan so it appears to have not completely
uninstalled.

Additionally, although my Schedule Scan Details on the
main scan page reflects the correct schedule and any
changes I make, when I access the Scan Scheduler,
the "Schedule Spyware Scan" drop down is blank,
the "Start Time" is set back to 12:00:00 AM and
the "Current scheduled spyware scan runs at:" section
says "lblScheduleDisplay".

I'm going to post both of these problems in a new thread
with a more descriptive subject . . .
