res://F:\WINNT\system32
\shdocpl.dll/security.htm#subID=MPV;401

the microsoft spyware scan detects it but it just comes

I just checked the link and it seems to work OK so I
assume you mean that after it downloads you can't run it?
Did you save it first or try to open it without saving?

What error message are you getting?

You might try renaming it from hijackThis.exe to hjt.exe
or download it on a friend's PC and save it to a floppy.

Probably your spyware is preventing it from downloading.
Get a friend to download it to a floppy for you.

I've been having the same problem. I wish somebody could
give me some good advice. I also have Xsoft anti-spyware &
have the same problem. They don't seem to have a solution
either. I think those companies that sell these
programs, are just taking your money. They never seem to do
as they advertise.
