Initially installed Spyware with no problems, performed
the diagnostics, which indicated that I had a number of problems. When I went to remove these the program froze and I have not been able to run it since. I have uninstalled and re-installed and now the program will not run. Any suggestions? |

Here are two things to try.
1) try scanning in safe mode. 2) It's been mentioned by others that a large result of a first scan will cause issues with succeeding scans. I've noted that the program describes that it estimates scan time based on preceding scans--so I guess one of the things it does on a 2nd scan is look at the report from Scan 1 to estimate time. I'd recommend deleting that first scan result to see whether that allows the later scan to proceed: Tools, Spyware Scan, spyware scan history. Highlight a scan and hit truncate spyware scan history, or, for the first one, delete this spyware scan history.\ "Fred G" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:120701c4f463$c07a0ba0$a601280a@phx.gbl... > Initially installed Spyware with no problems, performed > the diagnostics, which indicated that I had a number of > problems.
