The Downloaded ActiveX Program scan reports:
Microsoft® Windows Genuine Advantage Validation This is an unknown ActiveX File path: c:\windows\downloaded program files\legitcheckcontrol.dll Description: Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Publisher: Microsoft® Corporation Last modified: Sat, 13 Nov 2004 01:48:16 GMT Installed version: 1,0,58,6 Download location: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/? linkid=34738&clcid=0x40 Installed files include: C:\WINDOWS\system32\GWFSPidGen.DLL C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\LegitCheckControl.DLL Microsoft Windows Update Control Engine This is an unknown ActiveX File path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\iuengine.dll Description: Windows Update Control Engine Publisher: Microsoft Corporation Last modified: Tue, 26 Aug 2003 01:19:52 GMT Installed version: 5,4,3790,14 Download location: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.c...86/unicode/iuct l.CAB?37907.5032060185 Installed files include: C:\WINDOWS\System32\iuengine.dll C:\WINDOWS\System32\iuctl.dll On the Important "Infromation" for Software Firewall Users page: 1. GiantAntiSpywareMain.exe (the primary Microsoft AntiSpyware application) 2. gcasDtServ.exe (provides access to SpyNet for reporting unknown applications) 3. MicrosoftAntiSpywareUpdater.exe (provides functionality to update the latest spyware definitions) 4. gcasServAlert.exe (provides access to SpyNet for reporting unknown applications) There is no MicrosoftAntiSpywareUdater.exe file. ![]() Trying to submit a Suspected Spyware Reporting Tool report: An error occurred submitting the scan results. Please check "you" Internet proxy settings and try again. Which program does the firewall need to know about to allow this file upload? As the proxy settings are fine. Shaun |

I am having the same problem.
