I just downloaded any critical updates that I may have
missed and I'm still getting that error message whem I'm trying to install. Here's a really stupid question... I have Windows ME and have always assumed that it's the same as Windows 2000. Is that my problem? I haven't made any changes to my system registry and there isn't an issue with system requirements that I can see. Thanks for your help. >-----Original Message----- >-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- >Hash: SHA1 > >JODY wrote: >| The download worked correctly but when I went to install >| the spyware software I got an error message stating I most >| be running Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Windows ME is based on the Windows 9x platform and was always intended for consumer (home) use only, while Windows 2000 is based on the NT platform and was intended for corporate use. They are totally different creatures. |
