Default Homepage Hijacked by Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware

Don't change my home page (to msn.com) !
Today I downloaded and ran Microsoft's new anti-spyware
software:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/sec...ware/software/d
efault.mspx

Good news: it found and removed 5 bad things on my system.

Complaint: it changed my Internet Explorer home page
(without asking me, as far as I can tell)!

Suggested resolution: Fix Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware to
no longer reassign the Internet Explorer home page.

You probably told it to allow run the Browser Hijack Restore. This will
reset IE to its defaults.

You can configure the defaults in the Advanced Tools section of the program.

It didn't do that on its own, you must have not paid attention when you were
configuring it.

Bruce,

It won't change your Hompe Page unless you chose to have it do it.

Click Tools, Advanced Tools, Browser Settings Hijack Restore , then
click the Change restore setting to a new URL link in the right pane.
Edit whichever setting in the left frame that you'd care to from there.
