Default Slow to print after installation on Win2k pro machines....?

I recently installed the Antispyware app on 2 windows 2K
pro machines with a printer attached to one of them being
shared. The software worked great until this morning when
I tried to print to the printer. The printer DID print
but it appeared to be spooling for about a minute or two.
This was occurring on both machines. When I shutdown the
Microsoft Spyware software, both machines were able to
send print jobs to the printer and have them print
immediately? Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks!

the scan on startup is impacting performance.

Mark, thanks for the response. The machines had been up
and running for hours before trying to print and finding
there was an issue. I would hope that the startup scan
was not still running at that point but I will check to
verify.

Thanks...
