Default firewall stopped working


hi, after the installation, the winxp firewall stopped
working and is unable to start.
any idea?

Well-known problem. If you are up-to-date with SP2, run "netsh winsock
reset" from a command prompt or download lspfix.exe from
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm.
