After running for first time:
* System used all virtual memory (256MB physical) * Scannned for 12 hours, found 4 items but I was unable to remove them as beta was not longer responging and had to be uninstalled * Lost static IP address - had to manually re-enter it * Lost ablity to connect to the internet -- had to remove beta and reboot * Freaked out my server -- 4 users had corrupted microsoft word douments modified/created while I was running scan. Server stopped responding to network requests -- slow to logon at console. Conclusion: Beta not ready for my office -- removed |

How does a server get spyware?
There are several good posts in these newsgroups for various solutions to what you have noted - most importantly the LSP errors. If your server lost network connectivity while files were open on it then yes the files just might get corrupted. This why MS warns that this is a beta application, there will be problems and is for the Home user, not office. However, I have had no problems on my network and I will not be installing this on important machines or servers.
