I've run the new beta antispy program and both times it
found infected files and removed them. But I still have the F***ING hotbar in my computer. Isn't the program working properly? |

First, check your control panel Add/remove programs and see if it is listed
in there. If it is, uninstall it. Then open MSAS and click on Advanced Tools and go to System Explorer. In the Internet Explorer section click on IE BHO's. If it is listed there, you can either block or remove it. Then run a scan again just to make sure you get all of it. -- Spider http://web.tampabay.rr.com/spider1 "Robert" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:080701c4f8ff$6f3af420$a401280a@phx.gbl... > I've run the new beta antispy program and both times it > found infected files and removed them. It might also help if you to to Tools, Suspected Spyware Report and submit a
report from the machine, giving details about hotbar persisting through cleaning. That may help it get cleaned by this product eventually.
