I'm using build-in Marvell gigabit Network controller.
After installing this beta, totally lose network driver. XP detects a new hardware but can not properly install it. any suggestion? |

If it does, then MSAS is to blame and you can post a bug here by replying to this thread with the details. If you did quarantine any spyware with MSAS, take it out of quarantine and see if your adapter comes back. Or roll back one system restore point (the one that MSAS made when it removed spyware). If uninstalling MSAS doesn't fix the problem and unquarantining or restoring doesn't work, then try resetting the network protocol stack by running "netsh winsock reset" from a command prompt, if you used MSAS to remove any spyware. If that doesn't work, then drag out or download (oops, forget that :-) the drivers and reinstall the adapter. -- Kent W. England, Microsoft MVP for Windows Security |
