the UPDATE function can't find a internetconnection !

I'm having a problem with the update service! After a
while, a message appears (WARNING- could not connect to
the internet) I DID however managed to send -found
threaths- to the spywarecomunity with the program itself,
so I think that it is a temporary ploblem with the server
at microsoft, OR, updates are NOT available with/for the
Beta version ?! J.P.vdn Eeden - the Netherlands-

Took me about 40 attempts and then it connected. It's not
something on your end. Looks to be the server it's trying
to connect to on the back end. Keep trying and eventually
it will connect.

If you're running XP SP2 you have to a few of the updating
component executables to your firewall exception list. Go
to the help portion of the spyware regarding firewall
configuration. I believe there are 3 exe's that need to be
permitted in order for it to connect via SP2 firewall.
Also, once you've added them you will need to reboot or
stop and restart the firewall for it to come up.
