When I downloaded the spyware onto my computer, I was not
able to get on the internet. i called sbc, and they told me that my network connection was working, but the spyware firewall was blocking my web connection. I went back and uninstalled everything, and all is well, Does anyone know of a way that this spyware stuff can be customized??? |

Beta 1 of Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware has a feature
called real time protection that may be causing your problem. To disable this feature follow these steps a. Right click the Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware beta1 icon on the taskbar b. Select Security Agents Status / Disable Real-time Protection menu option If your problem persists you might need to delete the Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware Service Hook registry value {9EF34FF2-3396-4527-9D27-04C8C1C67806} under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi on\Explorer\ShellExecuteHooks using a tools like regedit (caution: when using regedit be careful only to delete this specific registry value). Note that running with real time protection is preferred as it provides more control over undesired changes to the computer that may potentially be caused by spyware.
