Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer results conflict with windows update

I have just received several critical failures when I
performed a Microsoft Baseline Seurity Analysis (though
the microsoft update page said I'm all up to date with
patches etc). I was able to download all patches and
updates except the ones listed below under Windows
Security Updates listed below.

Although I regularly run Microsoft XP updates and keep
them all up to date, this Security Analyzer pointed to at
least 3 critical failures and stated that I was at severe
risk and still am. Two of the problems I was able to fix
but this one Windows Security Update (with 3 errors), I
have not been successful. I have downloaded these 3
mentioned updates below and they will not "take" -
meaning they are still showing as not done. For one of
the critical security flaws, I discovered I had 2
versions of Microsoft Media player installed and when I
deleted one, the scan said it was up to date.

How do I get help with this problem? As it stands now,
I'm "at high risk". I also have an OEM product and do
not have available "time" to contact microsoft w/o paying
an arm and a leg. Any suggestions?
