When I run Windows update it never says there are any new
updates to install. I know there are because my other XP pro machine gets them. I have the machine set to download them automatically but nothing ever downloads. In the Application event viewer I get a crypt32 source error that says "failed auto update retrieval of third party root list ..." What can I do? |

Run a virus scan in safe mode.
