Update Internet Connection

Just installed Beta1. Program Update (manual) cannot find
connection to internet. Firewall diabled/enabled either
way, no results. Other programs work (Skybot,Adaware etc)

I got this multiple times today. I think on the 40th
attempt it connected and said I was up to date. I don't
think it's a client issue. I think the backend servers
are/were having issues.

i had the same problem. i have a linksys router, and i use
sygate personal firewall. enable automatic updates in the
beta. restart your machine. it should work.
