Default Advanced Tools: Antispyware questions itself!

I like the advanced tools section, but this is quaint.
In the Startup Programs analysis, Microsoft AntiSpyware
(Beta 1) is not identified as safe and the option of
sending it to SpyNet for analysis is offered. What
should we make of that?

Roy,

The latest definition file resolves this issue. Click File,
Check for Updates. The current def is at v. 5680. Click Help,
About MAS to confirm.

After doing this, the problem is solved, however, I'm wondering why these
updates didn't install automatically. I have the AutoUpdater set to run when
my PC starts up, yet I had to manually download the updates...

Too many variables to list ... server issue due to ________
would be my first guess. And, it is a beta

Yes I know this, and since "it is a beta" is why I'm reporting it. Not
having auto-update is a huge problem. It'd be much better to find and fix
this problem in beta than when it is a retail product.
