Default VX2

I downloaded and ran the new spyware remover from
Microsoft. It did not pick up "VX2". I know this
because I ran Ad-aware after and it still detected it.

any help?

Good feedback, but current lavasoft versions--SE--should be able to remove
this with the cleaner add-on referenced above.

There are NO automatic fixes for the latest versions of VX2 at this time

The "approved" fix is here
http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/inde...showtopic=54511 for W2K or XP only
9x systems need a different approach

Then run adaware in safe mode to clear up the rest of the files

There is work in progress on an automatic fix for NT based W2K/XP/W2003
