I hadn't read that carefully 'til I read this, whereupon I went to the beta
server and refreshed the groups and lo and behold.....

I think these groups are for MVP's as a group, and the beta groups are for a
broader group of participants in the beta.

I'm not sure how to grok which group is appropriate for a given new post,
though.

Hi,

Ehm, I doubt that, or there's something going terribly
wrong:

Hmm, I haven't gotten either email.
I stumbled across the groups on the webserver.

Interesting. I did make my first post to these groups via the link Ottmar
Freudenberger posted--but I hadn't stopped to think about the implications
of that. So why are they hosted on the private server?

Hmm... for NNTP, there's a username and password required for these
groups--but, coming in via the web interface, not?

Snafu, I think.

I found this URL/news server from a Neowin.net article that was linked by /.
