Hi, I am using MSN messenger and today I am getting endless alerts from
Norton Internet Security that Windows Messenger is trying to access the internet. Whether I block it or allow it these messages keep coming up. Any ideas how I can stop Windows Messenger from doing this, or is it a problem with my firewall settings? Pete |

Go first into Windows Messenger Tools/Options and disable it from starting
with Windows and when you open it etc. Then go to Internet Explorer Tools/Manage Add-ons and disable it there. -- Peter. Toronto, Canada XP Home SP2 P4 HT @ 3ghz, 1gb RAM, 160gb HD. You are welcome. Incidentally, Ad-Aware SE Spyware cleaner also has some
useful plug-ins, such as Messenger Control, Windows Messenger Control etc. -- Peter. Toronto, Canada XP Home SP2 P4 HT @ 3ghz, 1gb RAM, 160gb HD.
