ok for some reason i'm trying to use the scheduled tasks program on Windows Xp. It keeps asking
me for a password. I don't know it because I haven't used it in a long time. Is there anyway to fix this problem? |

As admin you have ability to set the password of
any account, including the one under which the task is scheduled to run. If this is Pro, do not set the password administratively if that account is using EFS !!! After you know the account/pwd, then edit the scheduled task so it is in sync. -- Roger Abell Microsoft MVP (Windows Server System: Security) MCSE (W2k3,W2k,Nt4) MCDBA "Ronny" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4CEFB4A2-AE94-4FE8-86F6-C782AB5B5462@microsoft.com... > ok for some reason i'm trying to use the scheduled tasks program on Windows Xp.
