too many updates

I have over 29 Windows XP updates taking up over 580 MB of
my hard drive space filled up with just the security
updates. How can I compress them? Surely there is a patch
that includes all of the updates from the last year or so?
any suggestions?

You are describing a Service Pack and SP2 is not due for a while yet.

You can safely delete the uninstall files:

So, Service Pakc 1 may eliminate some of my space problem?
Is that the one I can order for free and it gets here in
2-4 weeks?
