I ran a system scan and it found NewDot spyware. I
directed the scan to delete this hazard. Unfortunately, it caused my system to corrupt. My advise is to not remove this hazard, until a safer method can be derived. |

Horsefeathers. If your application had been installed with the users
informed consent, and had an easily found menu entry and removal link, there'd be no issue. -- FAQ for Microsoft Antispyware: http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "New.net Support" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:312601c5210c$347193f0$a501280a@phx.gbl... > http://www.newdotnet.com > > Is NewDotNet Really Spyware? > http://newdotnet.com/spywareinfo.html > > Is New.Net spyware, adware, etc....? > http://newdotnet.com/netintegration.html > > Lavasoft has determined that New.net does not merit > detection. > http://www.newdotnet.com/lavasoft_letter_010705.pdf > > New.net User Privacy and Technical Compatibility > Practices and Policies Report as of June 26, 2003 > http://www.new.net/PWC_NewNet_Softw...acy_Attest_Repo > rt.pdf > > > >>-----Original Message----- >>I ran a system scan and it found NewDot spyware. There is something about a vendor with the history that this one has, making posts about their current newly minted innocence that is a little hard to take. -- FAQ for Microsoft Antispyware: http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Rob" <YouJest@mts.Invalid> wrote in message news:Xw2Jm3cIFHA.2016@cpmsftngsa06.privatenews.microsoft.com... > "Horsefeathers.
