On my PC, All results identified by MS Anti-Spyware are
false positives: 1. BackWeb - updates software for my Logitech camera. 2. CasinoOnNet - I installed it from the web site. 3. Everest Poker - I installed it from the web site. It is NOT a "CashDialer". 4. Casino Lux - I installed it from the web site, and have used it for years. Not a "CashDialer". 5. RealVNC - I installed it from the web and use it to access my system from my Mac. |

So what was "false" about these reports?
Was the default action suggested appropriate--i.e. did it default to remove for any of these? Were the descriptions accurate, in your view? 1. BackWeb is considered by many to be spyware. See this
link for more information: http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/B/Backweb.asp 2. The same for CasinoOnNet. See this link: http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/...px?id=453073208 3. & 4. While not applications I am personally familiar with, these are the type of applications that tend to harbor adware/spyware. Of course without viewing them myself, or researching them further, I cannot say absolutely. 5. RealVNC could be a threat, due to its nature, if the individual did not know it was running on their pc. It has been used in combination with trojans to give an unauthorized person access to another person's computer. So, as you can see, these are not neccesarily false positives. ![]() >-----Original Message----- >On my PC, All results identified by MS Anti-Spyware are >false positives: > >1.
