How would an ISV get their ActiveX control listed
as "safe and trusted" in the Downloaded ActiveX System Explorer? Is it getting the control signed or through SpyNet? -Chris This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. |

Chris,
See KB 892340 - "Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) identifies a program as a spyware threat" (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892340) which contains the following: "If you are the vendor of a product that you feel has been incorrectly classified, you may contact our research division for additional details. To submit a dispute, visit the following the Microsoft Web site, and then locate the Vendor Dispute page: www.spynet.com" -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP mike.maltby@gmail.com Chris <cslemp@online.microsoft.com> wrote: > How would an ISV get their ActiveX control listed > as "safe and trusted" in the Downloaded ActiveX System > Explorer?
