Default I think this thing is the real spy

so far all this thing wants to do is cripple peer-to-peer
applications and windows.

yes it's bets, but it might at least detect alexa miners
in the cookies for gawds sake.

step 1
verify your os as legit
step 2
install
step 3
scan
step 4
cripple peer to peer applications and delete partial files
step 5
recieve your clean bill of moral health from the SPA
step 6
download adaware and realy remove the spyware from your box

MAS simply tells you what applications or files may be spyware. It is the
user who then chooses whether to delete them or not. Remember also that
this is a BETA product.

In addition to Mikes comments, cookies are not scanned in this beta
program--watch the counters.

Why are cookies not scanned or blocked?
Without this feature it all seems rather pointless.

....back to adaware I guess.

Remember this is a *BETA*. This is not final product and it shouldn't be
used on production machines unless you know *exactly* what you're doing,
have full backups and are in a position to do a full state restore if
something goes seriously splat.

Cookies are small fish. Dealing with those is easily done manually and does
not require 3rd party real time monitoring. If you're really and truly
concerned about real-time intercept of known bad cookies then use
SpywareBlaster. It sets IE up to disable cookies from known bad sites
without injecting an additional layer of overhead on the system.
