Default Terrible Program

I just installed this program and the following happened:
It found 3 problems which I had it repair.
Upon reboot, "Windows Installer" comes up and then
Norton Antivirus immediately appears saying to uninstall
and reinstall the application as it doesn't support the
repair feature. Uninstall what application?
Not good - so I uninstalled the spyware program and
rebooted. Same problem.
Ran system restore and it would not restore. According to
sys. restore, my roxio cd burn engine was deleted and the
usb software was deleted immediately after running the
spyware program.
System restore won't work at all now.
This program is junk and I won't be using it again.

Default Re: Terrible Program

Dave,

Sorry that your system had issues with this BETA release but you should
beware of potential issues when installing any BETA release :

" Beta Support Policy

* Important Information:
This is pre-release (beta) software distributed for feedback and
testing purposes. Microsoft does not provide technical support for beta
releases (see below for information about how to gain access to
newsgroups). If Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) is causing an issue with your
system, we recommend removing it by using Add or Remove Programs and
even using System Restore if the problem persists. "

FYI, MAS does not uninstall/delete anything unless YOU choose it to be
uninstalled/deleted.
Installing BETA software on a system is inherently dangerous. Best to
install it on a system that is Imaged or a test one.
