Default MS OFFICE 2000 PROBLEM


SIR,

WE ARE USING WIN-XP-P WITH SERVICE PACK 1A AND MS OFFICE
2000. SUDDENLY WE FOUND OUR ALL MS OFFICE FILES
(DOC,XLS,PPT) ARE SHOWING WITH 0 BYTE IN THE DIRECTORY
AND ALL DATA HAS BEEN VANISHED.

PLS PROVIDE SOLUTION SOON.

1. Get the Caps Lock off.
2. Hope you have good backups of those files.

Default RE: MS OFFICE 2000 PROBLEM

I'm having a similar problem. After installing EXpl Svc Pack 1, can't open any document files in any of the MS Office software suite. Get message: file unavailable. Files still intact, as I can save on cd & open them.

Have reinstalled MS Office, but problem still exists. Other software not affected. Don't know what to do next except to completely reformat pc.

Running XP home preinstalled by manufacturer. Any suggestions?
