My computer just shuts it self off randomly and sometimes
it turns it self back on. It seems to happen everytime I try to run an antivirus program, and also when I am playing certain games on pogo.com. Any ideas on what is going on would be appreciated. |

Hi Mike, It sounds like you may have a driver compatibility issue or perhaps a failing memory chip. General troubleshooting for this issue are to: 1. Check the event logs for events that could help you isolate the cause. The System and Application event logs are most helpful. 2. To see the event logs right-click on My Computer and choose Manage, then Event Viewer. You are looking for Error or Warning events that happened at or near the time of the reboot. 3. You could try booting your system in a "clean boot" state to see if the problem persistes. If the problem does not happen in the clean boot state, it is most likely some 3rd party software ior service.
