Default Script Error when Installing Windows Updates

Hi All,
I have hit a snag building a pc that I have in work, I
have managed to install all the updates from windowsupdate
bar 6 of them !

Upon selecting any of the last 6, a pop up appears from
the web page saying that this page has a script error and
do you want to continue running scripts on this page, this
sometimes makes the "accept button" appear to be greyed
out and cannot be checked to complete the installation.
Other times like now for instance, the install downloads,
and starts installing, looks like its gonna finish
installing then comes up with a message like;

****************************************************
No Updates Were Installed

The following items failed to install. To try installing
them again, click Review and install updates, and then
click Install Now again.

Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer (Windows 2000)
Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1
****************************************************

I have tried several re-boots and even searched on
knowledgebase and technet with no apparent solution !

Can somebody PLEASE shed some light onto this for me ?

Thanks,

Scott Lester
