Updates Via E-mail

Help! Microsoft is flooding my Yahoo mail account with
updates, patches, alerts, etc. for Windows 2000, How do I
disable this? I don't recall enabling this "feature",
although I do visit the Windows Update site to download
patches manually occasionally and would prefer not to be
clogging my mailbox with all this...

Just to let you know, Microsoft NEVER SENDS UPDATES BY EMAIL; this is a
VIRUS. I'd suggest that you set up some filters with your Yahoo mail so
you can block these messages.

Someone that has your e-mail address in their contact list is infected.
Or you posted your e-mail address to a newsgroup and that's where the
spammer got it. Change your account and be careful who you give it out
to is what I would do.
