Default Drive permissions

Hi,

I have divided my disk using three partitions C, D and E. I want to limit permissions to the D drive so only the adminstrator account has access. XP has three users, the other two have limited access.

In Windows 2000 I would right click the drive and change the permissios but this options is not available. Actually, I'm sure it is but I simply cannot find it.

Any help / assistance would be appreciated.

TIA - Vers

You might want to try and disable "Use simple file
sharing (Recommended)" from Windows Explorer | Tools |
Folder Options... | View tab.

Default Drive permissions

... secondly, as a note .. you also must have the drives
as NTFS. The security tab will not display on FAT or
FAT32 drives.
