Default Colour Changes on W98 & NT4 Clients

What you are probably seeing is called 'color
blossoming'. To prevent this from happening, you need to
use a higher color connection, so an upgrade to RDP 5.2
might be in order (so thus, upgrade to Windows 2003
Server).

The 5.2 client can be downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ilyID=a8255ffc-
4b4a-40e7-a706-cde7e9b57e79&DisplayLang=en

You'll have to buy the server, though ;-)

Thats a bit rough when I have a problem with W98 clients using RDP 5.1 to
have to buy W2K3.

Yes, I agree. But I'm afraid it is the only option to get more than
256 colours, apart from buying Citrix, which is at least as
expensive.
