We are rolling out TS Client at our company and we want to
put a desktop short on all of the users desktop. So I created a new Connection in the Connection Manager, created a shortcut to the desktop and then moved that icon to the Desktop folder in the user profile All Users. When I logged in as my test user and click on the shortcut. It start the Terminal Server Client. So how do I create a Connection shortcut that all of the users who log into the client computer can use to access one application? |

create an msi and use intellimirror to deploy, this can be done with the
free msi creating s/w on your server cd. -- Sincerely, Mark Mancini, CCA, CCNA, Master CIW&CI, CNE 4&5, MCSE+I 4&2000 www.MCSE2000.com www.AppLauncher.com "Barry Schneider" <bschneider@coverallusa.com> wrote in message news:2a7801c33f6f$3323f4a0$a601280a@phx.gbl... > We are rolling out TS Client at our company and we want to > put a desktop short on all of the users desktop. > > So I created a new Connection in the Connection Manager, > created a shortcut to the desktop and then moved that icon > to the Desktop folder in the user profile All Users. > > When I logged in as my test user and click on the > shortcut. How can it be done? What are the basic steps. How does
this allow all users to use the shortcut. >-----Original Message----- >create an msi and use intellimirror to deploy, this can be done with the >free msi creating s/w on your server cd. > >-- >Sincerely, >Mark Mancini, CCA, CCNA, Master CIW&CI, CNE 4&5, MCSE+I 4&2000 >www.MCSE2000.com >www.AppLauncher.com > > > >"Barry Schneider" <bschneider@coverallusa.com> wrote in message >news:2a7801c33f6f$3323f4a0$a601280a@phx.gbl... >> We are rolling out TS Client at our company and we want to >> put a desktop short on all of the users desktop. >> >> So I created a new Connection in the Connection Manager, >> created a shortcut to the desktop and then moved that icon >> to the Desktop folder in the user profile All Users. >> >> When I logged in as my test user and click on the >> shortcut.
