Default Cannot Save to Floppy in PowerPoint

Hi,

We’ve been having a strange problem with PowerPoint in Terminal Server
saving to a floppy or USB drive on the client and I was wondering if anyone
has experienced something similar.

When in a PowerPoint document that is over 5 or 6 slides, and we try to save
to a floppy drive or USB drive on the client, an error pops up that says:

There was an error accessing \\tsclient\A\Presentation.ppt

I have tried this on many different clients, and the same error exists. I
found this KB article from Microsoft but it didn’t seem to be the cause:
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;830265

It’s very strange…a presentation that is only 4 slides saves fine from
within PowerPoint to a floppy or USB drive, but over 5 or 6 slides and it
does not. We also are able to use Windows Explorer to copy the file to the
floppy or USB drives, but not within PowerPoint. My co-worker said he has
witnessed the problem within Word as well, but I have not seen it.

Thanks for any help!

Steve
