I have a Win2K TS with most of the thin users gone to Fat.
I am trying to clean up the terminal server beacuse of space. I found most of the garbage comes from user profiles under documents and settings. I am trying to delete the files, but getting an error that the files may be in use. These are useres no longer using the terminal server. Would somone please advise to the procedure for removing these files? Thanks! |

Thank you,
I thought that was the case. But I get an error when deleting. : "Profile not deleted completely. Error - The directory is not empty." Not sure what this means. >-----Original Message----- >System Control Panel -> Advanced -> User Profiles -> Delete > >Patrick Rouse >Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server >http://www.workthin.com >. > |

This means the user's profile was not fully unloaded the last time they logged out. Rebooting the server should fix this. There's also a User Profile Cleanup utility that can resolve these w/o reboot.

Thanks again,
I have rebooted the server with the same result. So I will try the utility you suggested.
