After installing SP4 on Windows 2000 server, the application log is filling with up errors Esent 454 and Esent 439. The anti virus software service is turned off and not scanning Esent files like the knowledge base article suggests. I can uninstall the sp4 and the errors go away.

I appreciate your reply. I am not running Exchange. I am reluctant to repair the database, because if I uninstall sp4 the errors go away and the database is error free. I would leave sp4 off if I did not need it. It is a requirement for Symantec Mail Security for SMTP 4.0, which I want to install.
