W2K, SP4 Terminal services. My remote users will work for
a while (days, weeks) and then suddenly they log on and there are no printers for them to use. Once I reset the server the printers are again available. What is wrong that this keeps happening? How can I make the printers available every time they log on? |

Check the printer spooler on the terminal server, which is probably stopping. You can set the printer spooler service to automatically restart on failure. This may be caused by bad print drivers being loaded on the TS. Check here for more info:

Next time the printers are gone, check the spooler service.
If that has stopped, it's probably a bad driver causing this. Make su reto read http://www.workthin.com/tsp.htm Stefan http://www.printingsupport.com |
