Default TS Application mode in windwos 2000 cluster node

In Windows 2000, can I install Terminal Services in
Application mode on a server that has the Cluster service
installed?

No. From:

294926 - Considerations of Terminal Services on a Server Cluster
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=294926

"In Windows 2000, you can install Terminal Services only in Remote
Administrative mode on a server that has the Cluster service
installed.....
.....If you need to create a high availability Terminal server farm,
Network Load Balancing may be the best solution."

Thanks very much your responsed.
Our 10 users want to remote logon and use the consoles of
cluster server node to check the system at the same time.
The users don't need high availability TS, I want to know
that if we will purchase 10 users licences per cluster
server node, it will need 20 users licences for 2 node of
cluster server?

Since you will not be able to install TS in Application mode, as
the article states, you will not need any licenses whatsoever.

10 administrators checking both cluster nodes at the same time?

The 10 users want to check the operation system, but they
don't need change the system any setup that they will not
have administrator authorization. So they will only have
read authorization to check system. I know TS application
mode can support more than 2 users. Accouding to the
article states, the means is TS Application mode can't
install in cluster node server, so we must to order the
other product to solve these requirement. Is it right?

Thanks

Since you cannot install TS in Application mode on a Cluster node,
you cannot have more than 2 concurrent rdp connections to these
nodes. If you need more concurrent connections, you'll have to
find other 3th party software that can handle this.

Hi,
So do you know which 3th party SW could support the
feature?
